We recently bought a house and are moving in on the 28th February 2014, the existing alarm company is Chubb so I decided to minimize my stress levels I would just keep the alarm system with Chubb, considering we have a house and a Granny flat so it is 2 monitoring and 1 armed response. I called the "customer care" number on the website. The number rang and rang and rang until I got the standard "the number you have dialed is unavailable please try again later...". I looked further and found the number for Durban and called them. I was put through to Angela who told me after asking me a lot of questions that she had received the cancellation from the current owners, and she was going to "do some investigating" and call me right back with the quote.
I am still waiting. Needless to say, we are going to be joining Blue Security. If you cannot even quote prospective clients, how are you going to look after my house? Disgusting service, but glad I found this out before signing a contract with your company.
