I phoned in December to cancel my account with Tracker. When I phoned to cancel, I spoke to three different people and each quoted me a different amount to settle my account. The first person I spoke to said it would be around R1300 and every time I got transferred to someone else, the settlement amount went up... The last person I spoke to who confirmed that my account was Jabu (who sounded asleep and like I was inconveniencing him for calling) and said it will be settled at the end of December, he told me the settlement amount will be R1691. To my surprise, R1835 was deducted. This is ridiculous, my whole experience with Tracker has been horrible, the call centre staff are incompetent and it would seem so is the account department. Tracker is twice as expensive as Car Track, Tracker used to cost me R205 per month, Car track is only R99 and they are less expensive when it comes to removing or replacing a unit. I look forward to hearing from Tracker with regards to being reimbursed for the difference in what I was quoted to settle, and what you actually took from me.
