Taking money from my bank account with no grounds

Fighting for six weeks to get proof for a direct debit taken from my account. Account been closed for a year. No justification and refusal to assist, passing the buck, staff blaming each other. No response to online complaint, no response to emails. No offer to refund until they sort out their end. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
