My boyfriend and I moved into our new place in April this year. I contacted Adt, to activate our account. The consultant came and made points to what needed to be changed, and followed it up with a quote and activation fee, which we paid. The technician came to do the said changes a few days later. One of the changes was to give us a new remote, so we would have 3. And check the signal from our radio transmitter, which they said was installed by a different company and they could not set it using their codes, and they don't know why we don't have signal. They left me with an un-secured home. Once they had left, I found that my old remotes were not working and now I only had 1 working remote. I tried to get hold of the consultant that initially helped me, but clearly after her commission was paid, she doesn't care about the individual. 3 weeks later I eventually call the call centre, they send a technician around who is able to connect us, but says we need a new transmitter and would log it in for the next rotation. I am still waiting! I have called the call centre since, at least 3 times, and still nothing! They also take over 45 minutes to respond to an alarm. What am i paying 4?
