ADT failed to install a radio in our new address

We were relocating and wanted to renew our ADT armed response contract at the new address before it expired. I emailed ADT to let them know the dates that I was moving to the new premises so they could send a technician to install the radio. I got no reply from my email and tried phoning ADT to speak to someone to help and was cut off three times before getting through to someone who seemed to want to help me. She asked me to send her an email saying exactly what I wanted done and I never got no reply from her. We moved into the house and I had no choice but to look for another service provider because I work away from home and cannot leave my family unprotected. A month later I got a call from ADT asking me when they could come and install the radio. I told them that they were more than a month late and that I had found another service provider. After that my Mother keeps getting sms saying that if I don't pay my account within seven days ADT will take legal action. My contract with ADT ended when I moved and all I wanted to do was to renew the contract at the new premises. How can I pay for non existent service when I have been a loyal customer for three years without fault.
