Double premiums

My dad took out a contract with ADT Guardian Angel and arranged to pay via debit order. About a year later somebody phoned and said that the debit order never have been activated. We arranged to pay the arrear premiums monthly with our monthly premium via internet banking. We decided to put in some beams and when they deducted the money for the beams it was from the wrong account. When we checked, ADT took a debit order for the monthly premium every month and we paid the premium via internet every month as well. We tried to solve the problem and wanted them to pay back the double premiums that they have received. It is now almost three years and nothing happened.
