I am very disappointed at old mutual for their poor service and lack of consideration, i took 3 funeral insurance in 2011, I noticed the debit orders were collected from my account whenever I had money from the 25 when I had specified to the broker they should be collected on the 1st of each month, I went to their offices changed to collect on the 1st of each month, everything went fine until I had to take a premium holiday for six months which ended in Feb 2013, at the end of Feb 2013 they deducted the premiums, end of March 2013 they deducted but in April they decided to deducted on the 27th which is not the agreed deduction date and there was no funds availaible in my account, After i noticed what had happened i called the call center to inquire spoke to a lady who told me that I had to make an arrangement and that they will take double premiums at end of May and all will be sorted so i did that, End of May no Premiums were deducted and when i called the customer service and they told me my policies had lasped because i had missed one payment of which was their fault for deducting on the wrong date. Now they tell me i have to pay 3 months premium, i have paid but im not happy
