BURGLARY ALARM RESPONSE CANCELLED BY CHUBB

On the 26th of October at 9:58 our alarm went off and the call was cancelled by Chubb's call centre. We discovered it the afternoon after coming home from work, the police and Chubb were notified off the burglary. The local staff and management of Chubb admitted that it was Chubb's error and we agreed that the loss will be covered by Chubb. I was instructed to get a quotation which i did, when I enquired about this claim I was informed that this is not the correct procedures and that I must complete a Chubb's insurance claim, I did not understand this as I am not the insured. I was then referred to Fabian Tieling, he made it very clear that I will have to wait and Chubb has made no decision on refunding me. We are with Chubb for more than 10 years and in all these years we made our payments on time and depended on Chubb for our security and peace of mind. We are very disappointed and angry with Chubb in the way our complaint was dealt with. We are in the process of getting quotations from other security companies and will realy not recommend Chubb to any person. All we want is to be treated with respect as a customer of Chu
