Last week SATURDAY at around 21:00 I phoned for a cab to pick me up (as usual on Fridays and Saturdays) from Gateway to Morningsidevillage. I was then promised that the cab will only pick me up at 21:30 since there were all busy because of rugby match that was taking place in Durban. I didn't have a problem to wait since it was the 1st time this was happening to me. I then phoned at 21:45 to say that I'm still waiting and still no cab and it was raining. The response I got was that I have to wait cab number 27 is 5min away from where I was. To my surprise that 22:00 came there was still No cab and at that stage I was freezing cold and wet as it was heavily raining..what shocked me is that when I tried phoning back again, it kept on saying number busy. What I'd like to know is why these people to me, why they didn't tell me from the word go there's no cab available for me. Is it because they don't want my business anymore, or I'm only good when it quite. Are they going to compensate me for put me through that troumetic experience?
