I have had a chubb alarm system installed for my pensioner grandmother. The contract was for a period for 2 years. I opted to cancel the contract after the 2 year period expired due to terrible service received. This said contract was canceled in December 2012. In September 2013, Chubb took an unauthorised debit from my account. This amount was "apparently" to remove the alarm system. No where in the contract is it stated that I am liable for the costs to remove the system. Surely I don't need to pay Chubb to take back their own device and if this is policy why is it not stated in the policy. I am only liable as per the term and conditions of the contract I signed. I will not pay for frivolous money making excuses and reasons. I expect a refund from Chubb, failing which I will take this matter further.
