Car written off

Hi
I was in a car accident on the 1st Aug and my car was written off. I called tracker to stop debiting my account because I have no car now and it will be pointless to continue paying when there is no vehicle to track. I was told its impossible and that I would have to wait for my contract to expire meanwhile paying every month.
What is this??? This is a cheat??
Why do I have to pay if tracker is no longer tracking my vehicle?
