I had my tracker device installed 3 years ago and have completed the terms of the contract without any payment defaults whatsoever.
However, now that I wish to leave Cellstop, they now insist that I pay for unit de-installation which is NOT in the contract and which I was unaware of.
Upon querying this, Cellstop said that I am liable for de-installation because the unit model is obsolete. Should the unit model still have been new, then I wouldn't have had to pay de-installation costs. This was NOT mentioned to me at the outset of the contract.
They also mentioned that should I choose to leave it in the car, it can cause interference to the movement of the vehicle and whatever emergency callouts that may result from the unit will be subject to callout fees payable by myself.
All tracking devices that I have used before have not asked me to pay any de-installation costs, irrespective of whether their unit was obsolete or not.

I feel so dissapointed in the service delivery from Cellstop. I doubt that I will be doing any further business with them henceforward.
