Overpriced removal cost to lock-in consumer!

I have been a Netstar customer for the past 8 years and 5 vehicles. I've had to replace 3 batteries over this time and had not realised that the tracking device was the cause. I only found out about the battery drain when I had to change tracking company. The new company refused to take responsibility for any loss of battery charge while the Netstar device was installed and connected, and further refused to remove the device since they didnt not know its location.

I phoned Netstar Head Office who then directed me to a fitment centre. The cost of removal is R600!!! I then get an offer to renew at a cost of R50 per month!!! I then asked for just the power source so I could have it disconnected to which I was met with varmint refusal. I was referred back to Netstar Head Office. This was on 5 June. I spoke to Dheren who, after a bit of a run-around, and being asked to be put through to his manager, decided to transfer me to fleet services. I spoke to Zunaid, who actually tried to help, but got cut off. I tried for another half hour to get a hold of Dheren again and finally resorted to emailing Nadia (contact off Netstar website). Till today I have not had any response from them!!!
