Old Netstar tracking unit is draining my battery

I bought a pre-owned car which had a Netstar tracking unit installed. Over the last few months, the dormant tracking unit has been draining my cars bettery. I have already had to buy a brand new replacement battery for the car as result. The unit belongs to Netstar & is not supposed to be functional, this is terrible lack of consideration on Netstar's part. When I call the Netstar call centre, they want R 570 to remove the unit, which is absolutely ridiculous!! Please disconnect your service / device from my car, and dont expect me to pay for it!! I have already wasted thousands as a result of Netstar's faulty unit in my car!!
