Blacklisted by ADT

I recently pulled a credit report and noticed that I was listed by ADT for an amount totalling just over R9000, I contacted the attorneys who listed me on ADT's behalf and they advised me that I should contact ADT Billing.

After struggling to get through I finally managed to speak to a consultant that advised me that I have two 3 year contracts with ADT which totalled the R9000. I explained to the lady that I never signed any contract with ADT due to the fact that I purchased both alarm systems cash and opted for a month to month contract which I terminated when relocating.

When ADT offers an alarm free of charge they tie you into a 3 year contract which I decided against and purchased the system cash and went on a monthly monitoring account.

I have sent numerous emails to the billing department and promised feedback however noone has come back to me as yet.

I am now taking the matter further with my attorneys as it seems ADT is only interested profits instead of their customers.
