ADT won't return the key to my premises

It has been over a year now that I have canceled my contract with ADT and I am yet to have my access gate key returned to me. I have made numerous requests for this key to be returned but my requests have been ignored by ADT. I have then turned to the website to assist me but ADT just point blankly ignored all attempts to get a response. It is this very same attitude of their's while I was contracted to them, that made me change security companies the moment the contract period ended.
I have paid for that key and it legally belongs to me. I once again request for ADT to return my key, as it poses as security risk to my family & property. If something goes missing from my property, I wilI list the company as potential suspects since they have access to my property & refuse to return the key, which would not be very good publicity for ADT.
