ADT provides false sense of security

Yesterday I experienced another break-in at my property. I pay approximately R900 per month as a private property owner to ADT per month. This includes an armed response service.
Yesterday ADT responded after the panic button was pressed at my property. The break-in was in progress, my gate was standing open and the perpetrator's car was parked in my driveway.
The responding officer parked outside on the pavement, saw a break-in was in progress and called for backup.
He made absolutely no effort to enter my property, apprehend the suspects or respond in a way that I would have expected. This may have included parking his car in front of my driveway to stop the intruders from leaving, shooting at the intruders while they were on my property, taking a registration number, chasing the intruders after they left my premises, knowing what vehicle it was (other than a white car?!). Shooting and disabling the vehicle as it was leaving my premises. I believe ADT provides a false sense of security to the people expecting an "Armed Response Service". Sitting on the pavement and call for backup before acting is not acceptable for me. I expect the vehicle that respond to actually do something
