My system was ruined by a cable- power surge. It took nearly two weeks to get it sorted. The repairs weren't satisfactory and we are still awaiting the service department's call. Because I had an insurance claim I phoned three times to find out the cost. On each occasion I was told that the invoice showed a zero balance. The insurance claim is now finalised. Yesterday I received a call asking me why I was in arrears for R2700. I asked for a supervisor to call me. Nothing, but I was phoned again with another payment demand. I asked for a supervisor. They were all 'in a meeting', and would phone me back. Predictably, nothing. I phoned, got an agent, they confirmed the balance, but could not tell me how or when I had been billed. They said they would email it: nothing. So, here I sit, facing phone call demands for an invoice I have never seen and which I can't recover from insurance thanks to ADT. And don't ever try to get through to ADT accounts by phone unless you' ve at least a day to waste. And if you do, no-one to talk to. A pity. Their response unit is brilliant, but I can't stay with a company that treats its customers like this. As soon as this is sorted I'm off to Blue
