I phoned the call center to activate my Tracker account with e Bucks. Then the operator asked me if I have received any sms from Tracker to inform me that the device is in a working order. I said no i haven't receive any sms from tracker. The operator told me that it is my duty to call tracker to test the device every 6 months. The question I have is why is it my duty to call tracker to test the device? Tracker can automatically test the device, after all its their responsibility to retrieve my vehicle if its. Thats why i am paying them. The problem i have is that should the device not be functional when the vehicle is, the insurance company will decline my claim because Tracker would pass the buck to me and claim that it was my responsibility to check the device. We as ordinary people haven't got the time to remember things like that. But Tracker receives the payment on time every month.
