Grandwest disputes refund

On November the 7th last year I made 4 transactions on my credit card of R500 each at Grandwest Casino. One of these was refunded when I cashed out, and I have the VOIDED slip in my possession. I have since had a huge battle trying to get this R500 refunded, as it went through as a transaction regardless. Grandwest did not take responsibility for it and said I should go to my credit card provider, First National Bank, to have it sorted out. FNB said it is Grandwest that has to sort it out. This is not the first time this has happened. Earlier last year I had an amount of R300 that was "refunded" but never reflected. This remains the case. I spoke to the cashiers about it and they said it happens quite often. Considering the amount of money I've spent at Grandwest, I find it astounding that they are now disputing it. I am in the process, once again of having it credited again by FNB, at further cost of time and fees. I think it's about time Grandwest sorts out this "supposed" glitch in their system, and time that other patrons are made aware that they might be losing even more than they bargained for.
