First National Bank
First National has reversed my refund

Business & Finance

Last year, on the 7th of November I made 4 transactions at Grandwest of R500 each. One of these was reversed, but never reflected on consequent statements. I have a copy of the VOIDED slip and so does FNB. This year they credited my account with R500 and last week this decision was reversed, and the case closed. FNB can only provide me with evidence of TWO of those transactions, so how can they possibly say that the amount should not be credited? I believe they are either being bullied by a corporate giant or are too lazy to actually sort it out. The case number is 25413923. I emailed them back asking for the evidence of all four transactions and now the whole slow process is meant to start again, costing me a further R62 on top of the R62 "voucher retrieval fee" I would have already paid. I want this sorted out asap and I don't want to be charged for another laborious process, as this has cost me more in wasted time anyway. I will have to take further steps with the consumer complaints commission and the banking ombudsman if this is not done.
