I am utterly disgusted in the service I received at Canal Walk Nu Metro. When I got to the movies on Saturday at 6pm, I first noted that from all the self service Machines only one was working. When I got to the front of the long line to purchase tickets, I offered my Multiply Membership card entitling me to only pay R19. The card did not work as "something" was offline. I then asked the cashier what to do and she called a supervisor, that informed me that I would have to return at 20:15 when my movie starts to check if multiply is online and if not, he will give me the discount and take down my details to follow up. I returned at 19:15 to confirm if I can buy my tickets. He then said that he will take me to the Manager on Duty. To track down that Manager, took about 10 minutes of patient waiting as she was in the shops. When she got there, I could not believe that she was the manager, she was not neatly dressed and not in a uniform. I told her what has happened and she was unprofessional and rude. She was unsympathetic and did not try to assist me by phoning multiply or anything. I had to pay R53 per ticket to a cinema badly Managed. The movie experiences was not relaxing at all.
