Unauthorised deduction of payment

On November 29th last year, I phoned and requested my subscription to be suspended as I was going to be in Antarctica from early December (6th) until late February. As I was unsure of my return date the arrangement was I would call them on my return to arrange for re- connection.
On my return I found that the subscription had not been suspended and that I had had two months subscription deducted via debit order. I have phoned them twice to try to get redress (once on February the 24th and again on March 15th) - each time being assured that recordings of my phone call of 29th November would be listened to to verify and that people would call me back afterwards to let me know the position. I have had no call backs with regard to this problem. I have since cancelled my debit order with great reluctance on their part and am waiting to hear their response before considering reconnection. I view their deduction of money from my account without my permission as. I have trusted them to act honestly - they have abused that trust.
