Inconvenience and cost to customers with card swap

DSTV customers with old smartcards are told to go to their offices to replace them. However, these smartcards are still working perfectly! As such, I deduce it is an internal requirement relevant to DSTV alone. No other alternative swop method is offered. I have requested that DSTV please mail the smartcard to me, however, they have arrogantly declined saying: "we don't do it that way"

The DSTV press releases regarding the card swap states :
1. That "there is no cost for the card swap". - However, it is at considerable cost to their customer i.e. time, inconvenience, lost work hours, and fuel etc. 2. "Reports that customers service is cut off is inaccurate" - This statement is inaccurate! They disrupt the service by floating a message on your screen thus not allowing any viewing.

My request for an alternate mechanism to swap the sim card were unsuccessful, with out any suitable explanation other than "no, you must come in to swap the card" and furthermore it was arrogantly suggested that I should do it because DSTV is delivering a valuable service to me. It is lost on them that their customers have paid for their "valuable" service.
