My television set got damaged, my insurance is still seeking a solution for replacement. This has taken over seven weeks!!! Now, i informed Multichoice that i have receipts/emails from insurance to prove that i have been without a television set all this while and asked for bill reversal/reimbursement. I was told, by an insolent call centre agent, that "you should have called us to disconnect you, theres nothing we can do now"!!!

This monopoliZation has got to stop!!! we pay a high price for sub-standard services!! Am beyond annoyed by this unbalanced scale!! Isnt it about time DStv finds a system that WORKS??? instead of disconnecting ONLY for unpaid account? Multichoice makes a massive chunk of change from all those account holders who pay for full services yet are away on business (for months on end). Those people dont have the time to CALL in, to be disconnected (cost saving excercise) everytime!!!
How am i expected to still pay when viewing has been nonexistent!! YES i am connected BUT I DO NOT have a television!!! SENSELESS
