Disconnecting an account when not in arrears

It is very upsetting to have a massive corporate company like multichoice who likes to rip people off. I am not in arrears on the account but actually have been paying extra on the bill since April 2013 till now. I do not understand why they are so quick to disconnect without even calling the client to advise. The month is not even over for an account to be in arrears. I currently have 2 Dstv accounts with multichoice and have been a loyal customer for many years. I am really not happy and I need answers.
