No Surround Sound?

Long story short: The film Les Miserables is a film I've been longing to see. I know the story inside out together with the music and sound. Friday 15 Feb, I went to see it with friends and sat in the seat furthest away from the isle. I realised in the first song that the surround sound was not playing but didn't want to make a fuss and bother other peoples experience. I assumed it would be fixed as the film progressed. 2hours 45minutes later we walk out and there isn't even someone to complain to. When I eventually found someone his reply was: "For Realz? " and said he'll tell the projectionist and walked away. TOO LATE! The film is finished
Now, the sad part is that the other people in the audience probably thinks its a bad movie/cinema/copy... etc. They don't even know that it could've been better. And just to kick me while im down, the chair's arm rests were broken and pinching my hip. Not a great movie going experience.
