Shocking service

Good day,
I have been receiving very bad service from DSTV. Reason being that I have holiday view and the contract that I have with them is that I would be able to call in before 22:00 at night to disconnect the services. It has now happened twice that I would call them just after 21:00 on a Sunday evening to disconnect the service, only to be informed that they are working on technical problems from 21:00 to 7:00am and therefore the service is not available to disconnect as the system is down.
This is shocking service as it implies that DSTV deliberately breaks contract by scheduling maintenance an hour earlier than what they agreed holiday viewers would be able to disconnect their services.
Once again Multichoice is building the reputation of not providing good service.
