My mom has had trouble with her DSTV for a couple of days, she called Multichoice on Sunday to get technical help, and was told to have the decoder replaced its dated. I had a spare one, we plugged it in and still nothing. Monday evening she called the technical support, explained to the call center operator, firstly she was kept waiting on hold for 15 minutes before an operator assisted her. They went though a couple of procedures and still nothing, After the last check state, she informed him that it still was not working. The guy in the call center then said " well then its your TV or something and I am not her to fix it" and ended the call abruptly. Here is my issue, firstly he has no respect for clients, he has no respect for people who are older then him, and are not always techno savvy, and thirdly that his blatantly rude. This is how its going to play out, Multichoice manager will call my mom today to apologize, and secondly another manager will call her tonight and have the problem fixed!
