Using of Transkei name

E-tv journalists still refer Mthatha as Transkei, I have noticed this everytime they are reporting in Qunu or Mthatha, I heard a journalists yesterday evening reporting in Qunu and they did the same when late Mandela was still sick. I feel offended with the continuing usage of this name as I come from Mthatha. I feel this name is related with Apartheid. The continuing usage of this name does cause a damage, Hellen Zille refered to people from Eastern Cape as refugees, Transkei was a country on its own. This is South Africa, there is no longer Traansval, Garankua and Bophuthatwsana.
