How does it work?

I am a platinum mvg card holder. Each year i used to get the 7 day offer for KZN, weekends @ Sun City etc. Been playing like normal (not less than any other year). The mvg benefits include free weekends at sun city etc. Phoned Sun City today to enquire why i have not received a voucher for this year (have not received ANY free weekends for this past year at all, no platinum invites, nothing) so quite a surprise to find out that i do not qualify for the free 4 days during December that i usually received over the past 5 years, did not get the easter weekend, no other invites as well. So now i am asking, what's the use of being a platinum card holder if i do not receive any benefit out of it? Can rather stop gambling, and save the money to go on holiday overseas each year and still have money left over. Even hubby that's a gold card holder who also plays regularly did not receive any invites.
