Punished for having a Platinum Card

I have been an FNB Client for 20 years, and have had a credit card for 10 of those years.
I was recently told that I qualified to be "upgraded" to a Platinum card, which I accepted, even tho the card fee was twice what I had been paying for my Gold card, as I expected I would get benefits and better service with FNB's premium Credit Card.
But now I am now interested in taking advantage of FNB's Tablet and Smartphone offers. Along with these offers are discounts off the monthly repayments if you meet certain criteria, but low and behold, The criteria are a lot lower for a Gold card client than for a Platinum card client. If a Gold Card client spends R1500pm on their credit card, they will qualify for a R50pm discount. for a Platinum card holder to receive that same discount they would have to spend R5000pm on their credit card.
So because I pay extra for a platinum card, I am being disadvantaged.
I understand that the Platinum card would have a high requirement for services that are unique to the platinum card (like the SLOW Lounge). But when the same benefit is more easily available on a cheaper card. that just doesn't seem right at all.
I'm Disappointed FNB.
