Our family set out this evening to watch Thor 2 in 3D! We have been waiting for our son to be old enough to enjoy going to the cinema and were very excited about our first outing as a family.

When we tried to buy tickets however we were told that our 3 year old son needs to be 10 to watch the PG10 rated film. According to the film publication board he needs to have a parent present should he be UNDER the age of 10. This is not a reatriction but a guideline.

Legally my son does not need to be 10 to enter the cinema, he only needs to be accompanied by an adult. And yet we were denied access due to his age. This has completely spoilt what should have been an eventful evening. We are terribly disappointed and would probably not return for fear of disappointing our son again.

This kind of treatment of customers is apalling.
