Ster-Kinekor Need to Wake Up

Went to watch Jurassic Park 3D on the last night it was showing at Rosebank Zone Cinema 2 (Thursday 16th May 2013). The movie started and 5-10 minutes into the film the dim lights in the cinema were still on. They stayed on until someone had to get up out of their chair and ask someone to please switch the lights off. At the same time I was walking out I asked for them to please restart the film with the lights turned off. They ignored my request and only turned the lights off.

I then returned to Rosebank Zone Cinema 2 on the Saturday morning to watch The Great Gatsby 3D. Worried that switching the lights off might become a problem again I went and asked the lady at the refreshment stand just outside the cinema to request they switch the lights off timeously. I was assured "when the film starts they will switch the lights off". Again the same thing happened.

I am very disappointed in Rosebank Zone. I think it is unfair that I spent a lot of money to attend these films only to miss out on the first 5-10 minutes because people forget to switch the lights off.
