VERY Bad experience overall

We booked in to the Vacation Club on 8/11/2013. We were all very happy/excited and could not wait for the weekend to begin. This was very short lived as there were a number of points that was very disappointing. Firstly, we had no housekeeping items in our unit and the unit was still dirty with used plates and glasses on the table. Secondly, there were building renovations ongoing right up to 8pm at night across the road in one of the blocks. Thirdly, seven of the ten units in our block was occupied by a group that partied together right up 3am the morning. We are 30yrs old and understand people want to enjoy themselves but that was unacceptable. We phoned security/reception several times to assist as we were just ignored. The security guards' response was "They won't listen to me". Surely the issue should have been escalated?? Needless to say, our two babies kept us up all night as well because of the noise levels that persisted through the night. I am extremely disappointed that we had to pay R6, 500 to enjoy the weekend as a family and had to cut it short by a day as we were not prepared to go through the same ordeal again and checked out a day early. Will never return again
