Consistent "error messages" on device

I have had the drifta device for over a year now, and am becoming very frustrated with the "signal currently scrambled" error message, which occurs 90% of the time that I switch the device on, in spite of having done a "reboot", either by pressing the recessed 'reset' button, or removing, and replacing the battery, before starting the device, by default. This generally results in having to call the DSTV mobile call centre, where the operator has to "send a signal" after going through the same process again, with each call taking approx 15mins.
I have tried to register on the DSTV mobile forum to lodge the complaint, however, the registration page does not accept the answer to the random question (What soccer club belongs to SuperSport channel = SuperSport United FC).
The operators have informed me that my issue has been escalated, however, it's apparently been escalated for over 6 months now.
Could someone PLEASE get this error message sorted out, since it results in extreme frustration, which I try very hard not to take out on the calldesk operators, since it is not their fault.
