On Tue 8 Oct my partner exchanged our PVR at DSTV Randburg. (2nd time this month) - hard drive failure. The smartcard could not be activated due to some technical difficulty. We phoned the call center Tue night with no success in getting through!!! Eventually got trough on Wed night, just to be told our signal strength/quality is to low for the code to be sent to clear smartcard error (after we did the reset function twice as well). I went to DSTV Lynnwood on Thu 10 Oct to have the smartcard activated, just to be told that the serial number on the unit we received still shows as available stock in Randburg!!! It was never updated on our account! Lynnwood cant change/assist with mistakes made by Randburg...(are you the same company???) Was told that Head Office will call me THE SAME DAY to sort out the issue... guess what... I'm still waiting - more than 24 hours later...!!!
This is really pathetic! Why must the costumer phone/follow up on mistakes made by supplier, when all efforts were made by us to try and rectify the situation? You call this customer service???
We are considering suspending our account until further notice!
