DSTV PVR ExtraView

Recreation & Entertainment

On the 22nd October 2013 I had a power failure and my secondary HD PVR came back with an error "Wrong Home Network". I called Multichice Customer Care on 0839003788 in hoping that I will get quick assistance. Unfortunately I had to spend more that R80 while on hold and eventually I got hold of an agent with a fat attitude and instead of helping me, she argued with me regarding which decoder was secondary. I did explain but then she asked me to change the setting of which the same error appeared. She evetually disconnected my ExtraView then she could not help any more. At this point I have already spent almost R150 of my airtime. Eventually I send a complain to their [Email Removed] and only to be told that I have to send my smartcard to one of their agencies and I still have to pay R85 for a smartcard swap. I took the pvr in at GiftAcres in Lynnwood and they did fix it for free, all they did was to upgrade the software. I reconnected the pvr and it could not get any signal from the primary decoder. AGAIN i phoned their call centre and I was placed on hold and no one attended to my phone call which cost me a hefty R150 again. I never got help till today. :-(
