Dec 2012 I had tech probs. I told my mum to cancel my subscription (I was living at a different address) as I was moving out at the end of Dec anyway. As she was the account holder, she made the call and cancelled the premium subs. DSTV cancelled HER smartcard by mistake. So we called them again and told them what they had done. My mum's smartcard was re-activated, but they didn't cancel my old one. Mum only realised something was wrong when she studied her bank statement in June. She noticed 2 payments coming off her account. So we asked the bank for all the statements and learnt that DSTV had still been deducting the monthly debit order for my subs. I phoned DSTV. spoke to Patricia who, after looking through the records agreed that that is what happened. She told me department X would listen to the call and that I could expect a call from them in about 14day. Month later I hadnt heard anything so I phoned DSTV again. This time, William told me the initial call had not been listened to and that he and his supervisor would listen to it that day (26 July) and get back to me within 30mins of listening. As of now, still havent heard anthing and NO MONEY!
