What's going on?

I understand there is a persisting problem regarding the HDPvr's, but after following the advice from an incompetent voice at the call centre where you are taken on a journey to the information central and are urged through various steps which end by pressing "7", my decoder then reboots and a screen saying "Network Set-Up" appears and I would like to know what should I do from here on, as no help from any Call Centre seems to be attainable, giving the impression that you have fled from the problem and left your customers without support and stuck with a problem that they have to pay for through monthly costs and a telephone bill?

I would just like advice to solve this problem so I may carry on with my viewing.
