Appalled at Service of Multichoice

Recreation & Entertainment

I am trying to get a decoder transferred into my name and I got together all the necessary documentation and headed over to Multichoice offices in East London to get things sorted out. Firstly they tell me I can't do this with them as the decoder belonged to a business. The made me phone a number that they gave me and said that they would be able to sort everything out on the phone, however, they didn't offer to let me use a phone in building. Upon calling the number given, the person on the other side (Deen) said that they cannot do these things on the phone and can only do them in writing, so I should email and fax all the documents through to them. I then asked the guy I was dealing with at Multichoice (Owen Peters) if he could send a fax with all the documents I had brought in to Deen. He said no and advised that I go to a nearby computer shop to send the fax (of which I did, but could not as they only accepted cash and I do not keep cash with me. Went back very disgruntled and fetched my decoder. I didn't even get a goodbye or a sorry for the inconvenience. I do not want a call back, I think this is utterly rediculous and the system should be made more user friendly.
