I am switching from DSTV to ADSL!

Recreation & Entertainment

I signed on to Multichoice almost 2 years ago taking the full DSTV bouquet paying R695 for the PVR function included. Since signing I have had 3 different PVR2 Decoders and now I am supposed to bring in this one that for some reason has the same problem. There is 1 channel that will go silent for 5-10 sec in every 1 hour interval, my movies and series' are being recorded late or not at all even after adjusting the extra 5min before and after recording. My PVR remote control no longer functions properly, I was told to buy a replacement, after doing so the commands on the new remote also does not work, I was told to bring in this decoder and pay for its exchange. Why do I need to go through all this trouble while losing all the shows and movies I have recorded to keep? I don't know if you are watching the prices for ADSL. I can get a 2mb uncapped line for my house and connect it directly to my Samsung Smart TV and watch all that DSTV has through the internet while saving all the things I want on my external HHD. Yet still DSTV gets more expensive while ADSL gets cheaper, how is this logical to management? You better sort your inhouse and service out, I won't be the last to go...
