Ster-Kinekor
17 month old not allowed in the theate

Recreation & Entertainment

Today my hubby and I decided to go and watch a movie at ster-kinekor Northgate mall since we didn't have anyone to leave our 17 month old son we decided to take him with us as we tried to get our tickets from the cashier we were told that our 17 month old could not get into the theatre since the movie we wanted to watch was a 13LV, this puzzled me as we always take our baby with us and we have never had this problem, so we decided to use the card machines and we bought our tickets we went to get in and the lady at the door asked us the age of our baby and we told her and she said fine but as we got in that cashier started shouting to the door lady saying don't let them in they have a baby this bamboozled us so they told us to come out and they will refund us we decided not to argue. My point is how can you not allow a 17 month old baby in a movie he is not even going to watch it he is going to be sleeping most probably and I am the parent here I get to decide what my child gets to watch not ster-kinekor staff. Its my discretion what I let my child watch am so upset that I ddn get to watch that movie
