NEW BORN BABYS MUST NOW PAY

Recreation & Entertainment

On the Easter weekend me and my family decided to go to Gateway to watch a movie. My son has just turned 2 years old so we decided on the Croods.

We also have a five month old daughter, and when we came to the counter to pay, I said three tickets please, The Cashier snapped at me and said i must pay for the baby too. I laughed at her thinking that she was joking, and said no i will only pay for 3 since she will be sleeping through the movie, this time very annoyed with me she said abruptly. 4 tickets! Well i insisted on paying for 3 and proceeded to the theatre where they stopped me and said yet again i must pay for the baby, and refused us entrance.

Now i own a business myself and understand that the market is tough at the moment. but to charge infants for movie tickets is not the way to make money! It is counterproductive, as me and my family will not return to watch a movie until my infant baby is at least 12 months and old enough to enjoy the movie shes being charged for. I am sure plenty other parents will feel the same way.
