DSTV account issues when switching decoders!!!

I gave my old decoder to my mother as her one stopped working. The only thing they had to do was switch that decoder to her account.

What they did was activated that decoder on my account for a full bouquet and stopped my mothers account which was on DSTV select.

My mother phoned in but they could not help her.

I then phoned and I got a story that their computers was down and could not help. I then asked to speak to a supervisor/manager and the consultant said he does not have one and it does not work like that in their call centre. After a struggle I got through to a supervisor.

Eventually the decoder was moved to my mothers account and everything was working as it should have been in the first place. They said I should pay pro rata for the days it was activated for the full bouquet! This means I HAVE TO PAY FOR DSTV"S MISTAKE???

I am so disgusted by this!!! Why should I pay for a mistake that DSTV made? Why can nobody help or rectify this? Why does DSTV employ such incompetent personnel?
