I recently made a booking at Sun City through central reservations. After making the booking, I received sun citys accommodation diary in the post, and i noticed that one of the nights that I booked previously was advertised as having accommodation diary rates available. I called to ask them to change the one night so that i could take advantage of the accom diary special (as i was booked to pay a full rate). Upon calling i was told that they do not offer accomm diary over long weekends and that june 16th was a long weekend. As i was trying to explain to the consultant - i had the pamphlet right in front of me and it showed accom diary was available! He did not even bother checking the system for me. He then became arrogant and stroppy -telling me he does not need to check anything that he knows for a fact that accomm diary is not available on long weekends - when i insisted that the pamphlet said it did, and i wanted him to just check for me - he started laughing at me. I told him he was rude and that i demanded to speak to someone else... his reply was yet another laugh - followed by ""HAHA... NO PROBLEM! "". Perhaps training is needed before letting these ppl handle clients SUN INT!
