I asked for a connection to be taken to one of my bedrooms when my DSTV was installed in November last year. I clearly stated that the connection must be to my main decoder, and not the alternate view decoder they installed.

The technician assured me that this was the case (there was no tv in the room at the time)

I have since put a tv in the room, only to discover that the connection was in fact made to the alternate view decoder.

Ever since I have been pushed from pillar to post with Multichoice - trying various options - from the sms request for technician services, to emailing field support services, to throwing a fit on the telephone. I was told I would have to pay for the technician to go out again as no-one can tell me who the original techician was. I am not prepared to pay for a service that was incorrectly performed in the first instance.

Yesterday I called field support services yet again, and spoke to Jabu - he has STILL not contacted me with his response.

I have called again today, and spoken to a Thami Amos - let's hope he has an ounce of concern and can actually resolve my issue, but I remain unconvinced. I have had enough of shockingly poor service.
