Background: During the month of April I purchased a new HD PVR as I moved into my own home, I left the existing PVR to my parents, whereby my mother opened a new account.
2 Complaints relating to DSTV's incompetence in providing the correct information:
1. On the 30/04/13 (5pm) I received an text message stating due to system error, the incorrect direct debit will be deducted and I need to add a stop order to my account. Which I done and cost R10 via FNB. I received another text on the 31/4/13 to contact Multichoice as the payment still wen through, to my disgust it deducted R2127 (No idea where this amount comes from) Now I have been a Premium subscriber for well over 2 years and never missed payment, therefore how could this not be rectified prior to deduction, as I have brought in new business by opening an additional dstv account.
2. On the above stipulated call I inquired about box office account, requesting if I should sms to activate new smart card, the staff member ensured that I would get 1 free movie on 1st order on new PVR (smart card), i just checked my online account and notice I have been billed? Incorrect info
