DSTV decoder faulty

Went to Multichoice N1, 31 August 2013, had a problem with my dstv pvr and smart card, error was, smart card needs to be replaced on decoder, They were unable to find a fault on either card or pvr decoder. I was told by Valmar that my decoder was still under warranty and she replaced the unit. I get home request for extra view to be setup and call centre agent asks me if i'm aware of the payment of R510.00 on my next debit order. i was neither told this by Valmar nor the next guy that handed me the replacement.

How can you not inform me on transactions that are going to take place on my bank account, nor even ask me how i'm going to be paying for this. Its clear that she did not make this known to me. If the problem is intermittent wont i replace the smart card first if its a less expense to me.
