Uncomfortable living conditions

My Name is Sizwe and I am currently occupying and renting a bachelor unit in Brackenfell. I moved in at the beginning of October 2012. The bachelor unit is attached to a house that is also rented out.

On my arrival I was given a key of my unit and the another one for a garage door that would lead me to the back where the washing line and the wheelie bin are located. The first month of my stay went on without any problems and a gentlemen in the big house moved out afterwards. New tenants came at the beginning of November 2012. At the beginning of December 2012, the new fellow tenants decided to change the padlock used to lock the garage door. I must emphasise that I was given a key for the padlock they changed by the agent, Ronel Smal, in order to go to the back to do my washing, use the washing line and make use of the wheelie bin to throw garbage. The garage door is the only entry point for me to go to the back.

The replacement of the padlock without any communication is forcing me to make use of expensive public laundry services and I am also forced to carry garbage when I go to work.
